Mr. Thomas D. Croci, Vice President / Treasurer, was elected a member of the
Foundation's Board in June 1994. He is a graduate of The University of Montana, and has an M.S.
degree in Guidance and Counseling, Long Island University; a P.D., Long Island University in
Administration and Supervision and is a graduate of the Rutgers University Summer School of
Alcohol Studies.
He has served as a health teacher at Connetquot School District; Assistant Athletic Director,
Connetquot School District; Assistant Principal, Connetquot High School; Assistant Principal,
Cherokee Elementary School and Principal, Edith L. Slocum Elementary School. He was a
founding member of the Advisory Board for the Employees Assistance Program in the Connetquot
School District.
Mr. Croci served on the Executive Dinner Committee for Derek Jeter's Annual Turn 2 Foundation
Dinner and the Committee for the Physicians Alcoholism Treatment and Training Program for the
Alcoholism Council of New York. He also serves as secretary for the Long Island Council on
Alcoholism and Drug Dependence.
In 2006 The Connetquot Foundation for the Advancement of Children honored Tom for his dedication
to the Connetquot community and school district. He was also awarded the Edward Krepela Award as
Citizen of the Year by the Bohemia Fire Department. Tom was also honored by the Long Island Council
on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence at their Angel Ball and presented with their 2007 Founder's award.
