Vice President


Ms. M. Elizabeth Brothers, Vice President of The Christopher D. Smithers Foundation, also serves on the Boards of the Warren and August Hume Foundation, the Community Foundation of Central Florida and the Bach. Festival Society. She is also Co-chairman of the Financial Luncheon Group and Vice President of the Central Florida Chapter of the American Association of Individual Investors, both of which are dedicated to increasing financial literacy, as well as Vice President of Development of the University Club of Winter Park. She is the Club's first woman member and the first woman to be elected as its President.

After holding senior development positions at Mount Holyoke College and Rollins College, Ms. Brothers became a planned giving consultant. She is the recipient of many awards for professional accomplishment and volunteer service, including the Brakeley Award for Creative Fund Raising, the National Society of Fund Raising Executives' Outstanding Professional Fund Raiser of the Year Award, the University Club of Winter Park's Community Service Award, the William Fremont Blackman Medal from Rollins College and the Cam Lusk Award from Club #1066 of Toastmasters International. A graduate of Vassar College, she is also an honorary member of the Mount Holyoke College Alumnae Association and an honorary alumna of Rollins College.
